Conflict at work: what we can learn from The West Wing

I’m a West Wing boxed-set (or Blinkbox) fanatic on my fourth viewing. It’s a now dated but strangely timeless TV drama mega hit written by Aaron Sorkin about the working relationships in The White House and required viewing for anyone leading a team or board, if only for one reason: the question “what do you need?” is the most frequent question the main characters ask each other. It’a great question. Its presence cuts to the chase. Its absence leads to fudge. Try it and see.
