Is there a connection between the work of Nobel winners Alvin Roth and Lloyd Shapley and job interviews?

The Nobel Prize for economics has been awarded to Alvin Roth and Lloyd Shapley for their study into how best to bring different parties together for mutual benefit. The issues are about how choices are made eg speed dating, choosing schools etc. Does anyone know if these theories have been applied to job interview situations?
